Example

Return the current date and time:

SELECT SYSDATE();


Definition and Usage

The SYSDATE() function returns the current date and time.


Note:

The date and time is returned as “YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS”
(string) or as YYYYMMDDHHMMSS (numeric).
